Clinton Eastwood Jr., commonly called as Clint Eastwood was born in San Francisco on 31st March, 1930. He is a well known actor, director and producer of the United States film industry. He is famous for his typical tough guy and anti-hero roles in several action movies. He is mainly known as the Man with no name in the film Trilogy of Dollars and in the genre, Spaghetti Westerns of Sergio Leone. In the late 1970s and 1980s, his role as the Inspector, Dirty Harry Callahan in the film series Dirty Harry made him famous all across the globe.
As a director, his films have always got positive reviews. He has won the Oscars for four times – two each as a Best Director and for the Best Picture. He was honored in 1995 by the Memorial Irving G. Thalberg Award for his long career in cinema. He was voted twice as the favorite actor of the U.S. , and is the only actor in the film history to star in films which are considered to be a “great success” for five consecutive decades.
